We are pleased to announce that our research proposal titled has been officially submitted to the TÜBİTAK 3501 Career Development Program.
The project, led by Dr. Ayhan Hacıoğlu, aims to design and develop biodegradable fixation plates for use in the surgical treatment of mandibular (lower jaw) fractures.
🔬 Central to the proposal is the concept of functionally graded materials (FGMs), which enables tailored mechanical properties and controlled degradation across the implant structure.
We hope that this submission will pave the way for future innovations in bioresorbable maxillofacial implants and advance clinical practices in trauma surgery.
